J.B. Bridgeman:
J.B. has 17 years experience in the electrical field including, instructing for the electrical program through the Associated Builders and Contractors.
J.B is very involved in the Bowling Green community through several organizations including:

J.B. enjoys spending time with his wife Becky, and two sons Ayden, and Ashton. Hiking, fishing, camping, and boating are some of their favorite pasttimes.
J.B. brings his love of family to JB Electric. Every employee is part of the team, not just an employee. J.B. Believes in quality service for everyone, and strives to deliver the best service to Bowling Green and surrounding counties.
Scott Hunt
Hi, I’m Scott Hunt, Project Manager and Estimator, for JB Electric LLC. I grew up in this trade, as the son of a great electrician. My dad took me on weekend jobs with him as early as six years old. All I have ever wanted to do is take things apart and see how they work; even better was to put it back together and make it work again. I started my official career at 19 years old as Dad’s helper, and realized quickly I wanted to get my Journeyman’s Electrical License. With a few evening classes and hard work, I was able to get them within four years of being in the trade. All in all I have been doing electrical work for 23 years.
I have also been an instructor for Associated Builders and Contractors Apprenticeship program; and I am currently serving as the President for the Southern Kentucky Electrical Clearing House, and I’m also seeking an opportunity to be involved with the State Advisory Panel.
I am very happily married to my high school sweetheart. We have three wonderful children, and one very spoiled and beautiful granddaughter. I am very involved with our church, and enjoy helping with the youth program.
I enjoy relationships built over many years with other electricians, but I can comfortably state I work for the best electrical contractor in Bowling Green!
Brandon Melton
Brandon Melton has been with JB Electric for five years. He came to us from our own Bowling Green Technical College and is a licensed Journeyman. Brandon is a customer favorite because of his quick smile and his ability to assess the needs of the client and then explain it in a way that they can understand. Returning clients frequently ask for him by name because they know they can rely on him to fix what’s broken and not sell them something they may not need.
During the hours he doesn’t spend at work, Brandon enjoys most things outdoors. His favorites are hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and horseback riding. He is truly a friend of Mother Nature. We’re pretty sure Mother Nature is fond of him as well.
Derek Talley
Our resident practical joker is Derek Talley. Derek has been with JB Electric for five years also. He received his education and knowledge of all things electrical from the Associated Builders and Contractors Electrical Apprenticeship Program. He is a licensed Journeyman. Derek is a dedicated UK Wildcats basketball fan. The only time Derek doesn’t like overtime is during March Madness. He also enjoys Titans football, car shows, and Nascar.
